Loreto was defeated on Wednesday by the league leaders Padova, in a game marked by the many mistakes from the referees. The latter made a report complaining about the club, which then received a 2.000 Euro fine as well as the ban of the home court.
“The Loreto fans have been named the most correct crowd a few years ago – said GM Politi – It had never received any fine for bad behaviour. It seems like last year’s episode with Piacenza was not enough. Everybody remembers the terrible mistake from the referees, worse than yesterday, and it’s true that the fans had complained but it had remained correct and the club had not received any fine. Now not only we have to face ref performances like against Padova with evident mistakes but we also have to pay a fine”.
