It took laborious negotiations with Treviso but in the end, the Wolves managed to secure the services of Vincenzo Tamburo. Born in 1985, the outside hitter was bought by Treviso in Treviso, where he played in the B2 team and only had a few appearances in the first team. In 2005, he moved to Mantova (A2), then played for Padova in the A1 and Isernia back in the A2. He spent the last two seasons at Bassano.
“We really wanted him – said sport director Pagliai – Tamburo is a great atlete and I am sure he will do well here. We now need a middleblocker to play alongside Baldaccini and a wing man to add to Noda”.
