It was not easy to keep him at the club but Viktor Yosifov eventually extended his contract despite numerous offers from Italy and abroad.
“Its’ true – confirmed the player – A few were quite interested but I am glad to stay in Roma, I really felt at home last year with Giani and co. And I know the club have put together a really strong team. Roma will be a mix of experienced and young players and I’m proud to be part of it”.
