Following Lorenzo Bonetti’s departure, it is Simo-Pekka Olli the new setter for Vibo Valentia. The Finnish has already played in Italy with Padova in the A1, but also with Bergamo and Isernia in the A2. Two great players of the past came from Finland: Sammelvuo and Shumov.

“The club had this sudden need to make up for the unexpected and incomprehensible loss of Lorenzo Bonetti – explained sport director Francesco Prestinenzi – We were not prepared and found ourselves in a difficult situation. In the end, we sorted it out with the signing of the experienced Olli. We are extremely satisfied to have him with us because we know he is a quality player”.
