Modena found an agreement on a two-year deal with Matthew Anderson.

Born in 1987 (208cm) in Buffalo (not far from New York), Anderson went to Penn State University and was named MVP of the NCAA tournament in 2008. He left college early to join the Korean league before coming to Italy and Vibo Valentia last season. He made his debut with the US national team in the World League 2009.
