Atripalda made its fourth signing of the off season. After Libraro, Scappaticcio and Cortina, here comes Antonio De Paola. Despite his only 24-years of age, the spiker already had three years of experience in the A2 and three others in the top division. It will be difficult for De Paola to improve on the superb year he had in 2011-12 as he scored a total of 345 points. He’s an all-around player, great on the serve, clever at the net and solid in reception.
“I am motivated, I can’t wait to start – said De Paola – This is a great emotion to play in the south. I will be again with coach Totire like last season, and given the names that are coming in, I’d say we’re in for an exciting season”.
