Loreto will boast a home grown talent as its setter in 2012-13. Born in 1989, Manuele Marchiani is indeed back home in Loreto, where he had won the A2 league in 2008-09. Marchiani came up in the youth ranks of Loreto before moving to Macerata, where he won the Challenge Cup in 2011. Last year, he was at Club Italia.
“It will be different compared to 2008-09, I will have much more responsibility – said Marchiani – I’ll be guiding the team this time and I am very proud to lead the team of my city”.
