While there was the press conference to officially unveil Paolo Montagnani as new head coach, in came another big news: the signing of Dore Della Lunga.
“I am happy to be here for many reasons – said the new coach – Castello was the last unoccupied bench in the A1 and there were many potential candidates but in the end the club chose me. This gives me great motivation. The moves they made on the market before I arrive were well though-out. I like the team I have even if there are still a couple of players missing”.
As for Della Lunga, the player who won two league titles, two champions League and 2 World Club Championships with Trento, was last season at Perugia. “Last year at Perugia we won at least once against every team except for Città di Castello” he said.
