Bartosz Kurek was forced out of Sunday’s game due to back pains but the verdict is reassuring as the Polish spiker will only need a few days’ rest.
“We have certainly not played our best volleyball in Città di Castello – said spiker Jiri Kovar – we have often found ourselves trailing at the start of sets, even in the two we won. On the other hand, we took a nice four-point lead, only to let it slip away in the end. We have to keep working hard in the gym every day in order to improve our record on the road”.
