Bassanello back-up libero

Padova has promoted into the first team Nicolò Bassanello, who will be the back-up libero. “Coach Valerio Baldovin called me at the end of my A-level exams, I was so exciting”. Born in April 1996 in Padova, the local boy will also be the youngest of the squad. “Last year the B2 division was tough for me and for the team. In this division you always meet experienced players who have often played in the top divisions in the past. It was an important test which enabled us to improve technically and tactically. Now being part of the team at 19 is a great feeling. Playing with great players is so exciting. I will learn as much as I can from each and every training session”.
