Reggio made another great move on the market with the addition of Manuele Marchiani. Born in 1989 in Loreto, he played for Macerata from 2006 to 2008 before winning the A2 league with Loreto. His next stop were Molfetta in the B1, then Macerata again, Club Italia, then back in Loreto. Another A2 title followed with Città di Castello, while he spent last season at Vibo Valentia.
“I met the managerial staff, they exposed their plans to me, it was very difficult to turn them down – said Marchiani – I heard the atmosphere was amazing here in Reggio, I can’t wait to get started. I haven’t played much in the top division but I had the opportunity to train every day with top quality players and I learnt a lot”.
