Middle blocker Pieter Verhees will remain a Monza player for another season. He becomes the sixth player extended for the coming year after agreements were reached with Jovovic, Daldello, Beretta, Rizzo and Galliani. This is also the eighth player of the roster given the new signings of Fromm and Hirsch. In 2015-16, Verhees made 29 appearances for a total of 108 sets, 273 points, 25 ces, 60,2% in attack, 50 blocks (0.46 per set).

“I am thrilled to stay in Monza – said the Belgium star – In spite of missing out on the playoffs, last season was very positive for me, I settled in just fine, the club and my teammates made me feel at ease and they put me in the best conditions to work well. We had a fantastic group. The fact that some of them are staying can only do us a lot of good”.
