Siena signed Michael Menicali. Born in 1990 in Monzalieri, 203cm tall, the middle blocker spent last season at Civita Castellana, just like libero Cesarini. From 2012 to 2014, he played for Cagliari (B1) before joining Corigliano in the Serie A2 and being very close from being promoted (playoffs final lost versus Potenza Picena). Last year, he helped Civita Castellana to fourth place in the regular season before coming out at the quarter-final stage of the playoffs. In his past two seasons in the A2, he tallied 441 points in 61 games.
