Coach Spanakis will once again guide the group in a brand new Serie A2 divided into two groups. Civita Castellana will be in the same “conference” as Reggio Emilia, Cantù, Mondovì, Brescia, Castellana Grotte, Montecchio, Spoleto, Grottazzolina and Bergamo. The relegation system is back too, so every game will be crucial. Unfortunately, last year’s super star, Paulo Da Silva, decided to go back to Brazil, but the staff is working hard to try to do as well as the magnificent 2015-16 that led to fourth place (knocked out in the playoffs quarters by Reggio Emilia). The club should be announcing a couple of quality signings in the next few days.

“I am very happy to keep learning in the club that gave me the opportunity to test myself at this level – said coach Spanakis – We are now focused on building the roster with the club and sport director Sacripanti, and I am extremely satisfied with the work done so far”.
