BCC Castellana Grotte was the best team of Pool Promozione, concluded in first place, with 6 points more than Spoleto, in third place. In Playoff Promozione Giuseppe Lorizio’s team eliminated easily Tuscania, with two 3-1 wins in Quarterfinals, then they face Caloni Agnelli Bergamo, in a great and exciting series. Down 0-2 in the series Castellana Grotte reacted and fought back, trailing until the tie, and winning with a great display of power Game 5 on the home turf. On the other hand, Monini Spoleto won the two previous match versus Bcc Castellana Grotte in this season in Pool Promozione. Riccardo Provvedi’s team eliminated in Quarterfinals Conad Reggio Emilia, two easy 3-0, and in Semifinals defeated the Number 2 of the seed Emma Villas Siena, with a perfect series. Will be a great final series.
