Never ending game at AGSM Forum with Calzedonia Verona and Bunge Ravenna protagonists of a very emotional game. Both teams arrived from an important win in the previous round, looking for a win, and so they did. It was a battle, Nikola Grbic’s team put on court two amazing comebacks in the crunch time of first two sets, taking home 25-23 and 30-28 the partials, in the lead 2-0. In the next two sets Fabio Soli’s team fought bacl and won with authority with a double 25-22, earning the access to the tie break. In the fifth decisive set it was once again a big battle, which saw Verona step up for the final win 20-18 in the tie break.

Kioene Padova won an important game over Gi Group Monza, a game with some high and lows for both teams. Gi Group Monza collapsed early in the game, losing the first set with a incredible loss 25-8. Third win in a row for Cucine Lube Civitanova, after the important wins in big matches versus Trento and Modena, Giampaolo Medei’s team won on the home turf at Eurosuole Forum versus Biosì Indexa Sora.
