Fourth win in a row for Bunge Ravenna on the home turf at Pala DeAndrè over Bcc Castellana Grotte, a clear 3-0 for coach Fabio Soli’s team, who had always in their hands the game. It was a great game for argentinian setter Santiago Orduna, who dished some great sets to his hammers. He was great also in the fundamental of serve, with some decisive breaks in first and second set, who gave the win to Ravenna. The best scorer for Bunge was Poglajen with 15 points, together with austrian Paul Buchegger with 14 points. Mvp of the game was middle blocker Enrico Diamantini , always present in attack and in defence, with 9 points. For the visiting team the best scorer was greek opposite Tzioumakas, together with polish Hebda and brasilian Moreira, all three with 7 points. Not a great game for coach Pino Lorizio’s team, never able, except some parts of third set, to stay into the game and to compete for the win.

Fabio Soli (Bunge Ravenna): “Despite a low rhythm and the several mistakes in the fundamental of serve, we won, and it wasn’t easy. We won with authority the first two sets, we reacted in the third, being down in the score and coming back. I’m very happy for this clear win, together with saving some energies for the next games”.
Giuseppe Lorizio (BCC Castellana Grotte): “We knew it was a difficult game, and so it was. We struggled in reception especially in first two sets, they served with great power, putting on the court some fundamenta breaks in the key moments of the game. We will need to improve and grow up. The most important thing is to stay calm, this tournament is very tough”.
