After the two training sessions with Taranto and after the success in the test match with M2G Green Bari, valid for the first edition of the Franco Castiglia Trophy, it is time to face the first away match of the season for Bcc Castellana Grotte in view of the next national championship series. The preseason 2022 journey, in fact, brings the team coached by Jorge Cannestracci to the Pala Brillia in Corigliano Calabro for a triangular match which will also be attended by Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia, another team enrolled in the next A2 series, and Olympiakos Piraeus.
It will be played on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 September 2022: the Bcc Castellana Grotte will make its debut on the first day against Vibo Valentia. The loser between the two Italian teams will always challenge Olympiakos on Thursday evening, the winner will face the Greek team on Friday.
Meanwhile, the schedule for the remaining part of the preseason has been re-formulated: the two test matches initially planned with Vibo Valentia will not be played. The dates of the last two events approaching the official debut on 9 October in Grottazzolina will be made official and communicated in the coming days.
