The Superlega championship calendar is official. The Emma Villas Aubay Siena of coach Paolo Montagnani will begin its seasonal journey in the top flight in Trento. The race is scheduled for Sunday 2 October, when the first day of the Superlega tournament will be played. The return match will be in Siena on Sunday 18 December.
On the second day the Sienese will play their first home match of the season, at PalaEstra. The match is scheduled for Sunday 9 October and the opponent of the day will be Perugia. In the second round the match will be played on December 26, for Santo Stefano the Emma Villas Aubay Siena will therefore play in Umbria against Sir.
On the third day Siena will be involved in an away match against Milan: first leg match scheduled for October 16, return to PalaEstra on January 8.
On the fourth day, home match against Piacenza, then there will be two away matches in a row for the Sienese.
On the fifth day, in fact, an away match against Cisterna is scheduled.
And again: on the sixth in Padua (6 November, return to Siena on 29 January), on the seventh day a fascinating match when Modena will arrive at PalaEstra: a race scheduled for 13 November. In Emilia the return challenge on February 5th.
The home match of the Italian champions of Lube Civitanova Marche will be on November 20. The return, in a PalaEstra that is easy to imagine crowded with spectators and fans, will be in Siena on 12 February.
The Emma Villas Aubay will return to the friendly walls on the ninth day for the match against Taranto.
In the last two days of the calendar, Siena will play in Verona (first leg on 4 December and return to PalaEstra on 5 March) and then at home against Monza (in Brianza on the last day on 12 March).
