The best championship test that ErmGroup San Giustino could offer to volleyball fans and enthusiasts. On Saturday 17 September, starting at 3.30 pm, the triangular competition that will oppose the biancazzurri to the Kemas Lamipel of Santa Croce sull’Arno (the famous Wolves), militant in A2 and the Abba Pineto, who will be the direct opponent of Marra and his teammates in the white group of Serie A3 Credem Banca. Three weeks after the start, therefore, they begin to sharpen their weapons with tests and mini-tournaments useful to provide the first significant indications on the effects of the preparation and on the condition of the various teams. And so it will also be for the ErmGroup of Marco Bartolini and Mirko Monaldi, who have been at work for exactly one month. Coach Vincenzo Mastrangelo’s Kemas certainly needs no introduction: it got stronger with the arrivals of the opposite Matheus Motzo, the central Andrea Mattei and the spiker Matteo Maiocchi, while Alessandro Acquarone confirmed as director, just to name a few. The other central player, Andrea Truocchio, who was absent on Saturday 10 September in joint training with the ErmGroup, could return to San Giustino. Abba Pineto, led on the bench by Giacomo Tomasello, is one of the candidates for the category jump, for which enough has already been said: it boasts a first-rate roster with the diagonal made up of the setter Matteo Paris and the opposite Jacob Blink, but there are Sebastiano Milan on the band and two rather strong center walls, called Marco Bragatto and Enrico Basso. In short, it will be an afternoon of great volleyball, which will begin at 3.30 pm with ErmGroup San Giustino-Kemas Lamipel Santa Croce, then it will be the turn of the Tuscans against Abba Pineto and finally the preview of A3 between ErmGroup and the Abruzzo team. The best of three sets are played, with the third set becoming a tiebreaker.
