This evening, at the prestigious location of the “Salone degli Specchi” in Palazzo di Città, the presentation of Gioiella Prisma Taranto, which is about to face the Super League Championship for the second year, took place.

Many authorities were present including the Mayor of Taranto Rinaldo Melucci, the Deputy Mayor with responsibility for Economic Development Fabrizio Manzulli, the Councilor for Sport Gianni Azzaro, the Regional Councilor Vincenzo Di Gregorio and the Councilor of the President of the Puglia Region for the Taranto area Mino Borraccino.

Also presented the uniforms that will be used by our athletes, produced by our technical sponsor Joma, in the presence of the official dealer Marco Cascarano.

It was an evening held in an institutional seat but spent under the banner of the cordiality and affection that all our supporters wanted to show with their presence.

Also present were all the representatives of the companies that have embraced the Gioiella Prisma Volley project and that have shown their closeness not only to the team but to the whole city of Taranto.

The Mayor of Taranto Rinaldo Melucci did the honors: “First of all, I want to say thanks to this club and these guys. Tonight we are celebrating the start of the new season and we want to do a big good luck to coach Di Pinto and all the athletes of the Gioiella Prisma Taranto. We have been living this great dream with them for some years now, in our city which will host the Mediterranean Games in 2026 and which is about to start a major restyling of sports facilities. Having a club here that, in the midst of a thousand sacrifices, brings Taranto to the most beautiful championship in the world is a source of great joy. This is your home, it is not the first time that we are here celebrating your great achievements. A big thank you to the President Antonio Bongiovanni and to the Vice President Elisabetta Zelatore who with their great efforts have become an asset of our territory. Thanks to all the Gioiella Prisma, today we can talk about a different Taranto ”.
