Sir Safety Conad won his third Italian Cup at Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (BO), in front of the sell out crowd (4965 spectators, the 60% of the capacity) of enthusistic volleyball lovers.

Nikola Grbic’s team defeated Itas Trentino in the big final, after winning first two sets, suffering the comeback of Angelo Lorenzetti’s team in the third, and sealing the win in fourth, with a 25-23 win.

It was a great volleyball showdown at Unipol Arena for the Del Monte Italian Cup Final Four in this weekend, with two great Semifinals on saturday between Sir Safety Conad Perugia and Lorenzo Bernardi’s Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, and between Itas Trentino and Allianz Milano, with the final happening of Del Monte Italian Cup Serie A3 final, which saw the win of Tinet Prata over Videx Grottazzolina.

On today the big final put on stage once again the amazing show of the best volleyball in the world, with two of the top teams in the world, putting to italian volleyball atop the quality standings.
