Third in the top scorers in the season just ended, Kristian Gamba will take the place of Matheus Motzo, second, at Pool Libertas Cantù in the next one. A native of Aosta but of the Cuneo school, the left-handed opposite comes from a three-year experience at HRK Diana Group Motta di Livenza, with whom he won the promotion from Serie A3 to Serie A2 Credem Banca, in addition to the “Francesco Badiali” Award as best Italian Under 23 Serie A3 player in the 2020-2021 championship. Gamba has also been in the youth national team, winning a silver at the Under 21 World Cup in Bahrain in 2019.
