It was a great monday at Volley Savigliano. Here is the setter of the new 22/23 roster: class 97, Luca Filippi, directly from Cuneo of A2.
Luca was born in volleyball in Cuneo where he plays all the youth teams up to the age of 17, then he moves to Club Italia for a year. He played for six years at Parella Torino between Serie B and A3, before returning to Cuneo last year for his first experience in A2.
The greatest success he tells us is linked to Parella, the promotion of Serie B to A3. The most difficult moments, however, are linked to last season: the defeats in the final of the Italian Cup and in the play-offs for the Super League.
Next year in Savigliano he thinks it will be a good challenge, a young team with a great desire to work and good conditions to do well, surely Savigliano will want to redeem last season. It will be a long, demanding year in which it will be essential to start on the right foot.
Luca’s dream in volleyball is to play at the highest possible levels. Off the pitch he thinks about graduating (shortly) and succeeding in the world of work.
Savigliano is eager to see Luca at work, confident that he will be able to create the right team symphony.
