The Brazilian Pedro Jukoski will be the new setter of New Mater Volley Castellana Grotte for the 2022/2023 season and for the next national championship A2 Credem Banca men’s volleyball. This was officially announced by the top management of the Gialloblù club with the president Nino Carpinelli and the sporting director Bruno De Mori.

Born in Maringà, in the state of Paranà, class of 1995 (he will turn 27 next September 24), 193 cm, Jukoski comes from the top Spanish league, a tournament in which he played the last two years with Barça Voleibol (in 2020/2021) and Pamesa Teruel Voleibol (in 2021/2022). In his career also experiences in France (at Saint Quentin Volley, again in 2020/2021), again in Spain at Manacor and again at Teruel (in 2019/2020 with the win of a Supercopa and Copa del Rey, as well as the title of best setter of the Superliga and of the cup itself) and in Brazil (Sesc Rio de Janeiro, Funvic de Taubatè and Volei Canoas among others). With the national team of his country, he won the Pan American Cup U21 in 2015 and the South American Championship twice, as well as participating in an internship with Renan dal Zotto’s Selecao at the beginning of the summer.

Son of art of Paulao Silva (gold medal at the 1992 Olympics with Selecao), Pedro Jukoski (who will play as a community player under the double Italian and Brazilian passport) will thus be at the disposal of coach Jorge Cannestracci and will form a all brazilian diagonal with the reconfirmed Theo Lopes.
