The program of approaching the men’s volleyball championship series A3 of Sabaudia Pallavolo continues. The team coached by coach Marco Saccucci, in this phase of preparation, is undergoing some joint training (so far with Fenice Roma, Genzano and Tuscania) to test the team.

“We are happy with what we were able to express on the court in these test matches which for us are opportunities to analyze many factors, in us I saw a spirit of sacrifice and dedication to the cause, these are things that need to be trained and it is good that in this phase can come out because I am convinced that during the championship we will need them – explains coach Saccucci – I saw the team well focused on the work we have to do in this phase to be ready for the start of the season that continues to approach with great strides ».

Among the new faces of Sabaudia there is also Michele Malvestiti, born in 1998, spiker born in Seriate (Bergamo), 198 centimeters tall who comes from Libertas Cantù in Serie A2. “I was very anxious to resume training after the disappointment of the play-off final and I prepared myself without ever stopping between training in the gym and beach volleyball and from the first day of this preparation I immediately noticed a great desire to work on the part of the whole group that immediately revealed itself to be cohesive, I believe that these are key elements for the success of a good championship and I can’t wait to get my first satisfactions with this shirt ». In the 2018/19 season Malvestiti was also called up in SuperLega by Vero Volley Monza.

“I expect a very long championship and we will face it with young people who have enthusiasm and talent in a group that can also boast highly experienced players who will be able to give authoritative guidance to the rest of the team – concludes Malvestiti – I can’t wait to see the arena full of fans and our goal will be to make them passionate to make them return to the next match ». Sabaudia will start the Serie A3 championship on 9 October with the away match at Tuscania while the home debut is set for 16 October at Pala Vitaletti against Napoli.
