Third week gone for Sir Safety Susa Perugia.
With the technical session on the sand of Zocco Beach this afternoon, the third work cycle for the Block Devils ends. The closing week for the bianconeri is very varied with two days on the banks of the Trasimeno and one of team building dealing with rafting.
Coach Anastasi and his staff are increasingly increasing loads and volumes of work, facilitated by the growing condition of the players present from the beginning of the preparation and also by the numerical increase of the available group. After Leon’s arrival last weekend, in fact, the current squad has expanded by two more units with the mid-week entries of Cardenas and Piccinelli, both returning from pre-season retreats with their respective national selections.
Therefore, seven bianconeri will be present, a number that allows the technical staff to plan a more global and not only analytical type of work, while keeping to the technical-tactical part.
“I have been here in Perugia for a few days, everything is new for me, but I am very happy”, the first words of Cardenas. “I am in one of the first teams in the world and I want to show my qualities on the pitch”.
“I’m starting my fifth season in Perugia”, says Piccinelli instead. “I have come from a long summer with the national team, I feel good and I am ready to start a new adventure with the aim, as always, of adding a brick year after year and carving out my space. As in the previous four seasons it is always me and Max (Colaci, ed) and like every year I will try to learn from him and nibble what I can to get my chances “.
The team will now enjoy two days of rest and recovery coinciding with the weekend. Restart of activity, with the fourth week of preparation, on Monday morning at the PalaBarton with a session in the weight room and technical work on the field.
