The holidays are over for the Top Volley Cisterna which this morning (Wednesday 3 August) found itself, albeit in reduced ranks, at the Ninfa Poliambultario-Rehabilitation of Cisterna for medical visits and various examinations. All for a part of the squad. In fact, Damiano Catania, Andrea Mattei, Aidan Zingel, Michael Zanni, Andrea Rossi and Michele Baranowicz were present. In the field, therefore, the medical staff of the Pontine company which, like the technical one, was reconfirmed en bloc. We are talking about the doctor, Amedeo Verri, the orthopedist Gianluca Martini, the physiotherapists Valeria Diviziani and Elio Paolini, the osteopath Mirko Carnevale, the podiatrist Alessandro Russo, the radiologist Francesco Sciuto and the nutritionist Salvatore Battisti and the cardiologist Giorgio Greci. Leading this first group in preparation already from the same afternoon today (Wednesday 3 August) the team captain, Michele Baranowicz: “I don’t like to talk about what it was and, therefore, about the past season. Ours is a young but extremely motivated team. As far as I am concerned, I am happy to have remained in a club that represents the history of volleyball in Italy, happy to be at the center of a new program that will have to lead us, first of all, to achieve a peaceful salvation “. Among many new faces there is also the well-known one of Andrea Rossi: “I didn’t expect this call but when it arrived I didn’t think twice. I hope and hope to be able to be useful to this young team that is emerging, also and above all from the top of the experience accumulated over the years “.
