The first addition to Cuneo Volley’s Serie A2 roster is Matteo Staforini, Libero born in 2003 coming from Top Volley Cisterna, an A1 team where he shared the department with a former biancoblù, Damiano Catania. Twice European Champion with the blue shirt, he can’t wait to wear that of the City of Cuneo.

« A great talent, young and with a wide margin. I am very happy that Matteo has chosen to come to play in Cuneo to take an important step in terms of role responsibility and I am sure he will be a great contribution to the team we are preparing.” – Paolo Brugiafreddo Sports director of Cuneo Volleyball.

“First of all, I want to thank the club for the trust and the opportunity they have given me. I’m very excited to start the new season with this jersey because it has a very ambitious project; it’s still early days, but I can’t wait to get to know the group and start training with them. Our job will be to give and do our best, I know the fans are very hot, it will be up to us to turn them on even more.” – these are the first words of Matteo Staforini, Libero of Cuneo Volley.

The presentation of Staforini will take place tomorrow morning, Wednesday 3 May at 10.00 at the Puliservice headquarters in Borgo S. Dalmazzo, where we will be welcomed by the Vice President Adriano Giordana and his son Allessandro, partners and members of the Biancoblù Club, for the conference official press in front of the major local newspapers, television and radio.
