Leonardo Baciocco is the new hammer of Geetit Bologna.
Directly from Volley 2001 Garlasco, the Genoese spiker sets sail on the ship captained by coach Marzola.
Born in 2000, Leonardo (197cm) began his career at the Lavagna youth team, then moved to Rome at Club Italia Crai, and spent the next 7 years between the A2 and A3 clubs. Fresh off a season in which Moyashi Garlasco made the playoffs, the Ligurian striker declared himself excited and impatient for the new adventure in the rossoblu city: “As an opponent, I’ve always been struck by the organization on the pitch and the formations of coach Marzola and his staff; everyone raves about them and I’m confident we can do a great job together.” The youngster also states: “The league that awaits us is very competitive, but the club is well structured and has ambitious goals.” Baciocco, who has 901 points in 7 seasons, is enthusiastic about the roster that is being formed, but remembers that it will be important to find the right alchemy right away. Leonardo, who in recent years has had many new beginnings in as many Italian cities, is eager to start again this time in Bologna, which he has defined as “one of the most beautiful cities in Italy”.
