Geetit throws herself headlong into the market and scores an international coup: the Lithuanian opposite Valdas Listanskis, born in 1997, leaves Switzerland after a season in which Concordia volley Luzern finished fifth in the Swiss Cup 22/23 and chooses Bologna for the rest of his career.
Valdas began his volleyball career in 2016 in Lithuania at Flamingo Volley, who won the Lithuanian Super Cup with him. The 26-year-old then moved to Hungary in 2021, where he won the award for best defender. Listanskis (202cm) therefore boasts an international curriculum, and has chosen Italy to plant the next flag and make his dream come true: “Ever since I started playing volleyball it has always been a dream to come to Italy because, you know, the level is very high. I am extremely happy to be part of the team and I will show my determination by working hard to achieve the best possible results.”

These are the words of Geetit’s new second place, who could not fail to make a reference to “her” new city: “Bologna is beautiful and it is an honor for me to have the opportunity to live there and represent it together with this team”.
