Mattia Catone is the new setter of HRK Motta, here is the definition of “market hit”.
Certainly someone who knows and can make the difference, as evidenced by the excellent season played in Serie A2 in Bergamo. Year in which he found a lot of space and did well.

Setter born in 2001 from Atri (TE) arrives at the court of coach Zanardo full of enthusiasm: “I chose to marry the green-and-white project because I immediately felt the desire to aspire to do well. The team that the club is setting up is young but super equipped and then in the air you can feel a great desire to play volleyball “.

For you two years in A3 in Pineto and then last year in the ranks of Bergamo in A2. Right at Agnelli Tipiesse you have carved out a lot of space for yourself by demonstrating your qualities. So what do you think are your greatest strengths?

“Certainly last season was very fruitful for my growth because it allowed me to compete with a higher category. I think my strengths are tenacity and grit, as far as the technical aspect is concerned, it’s not up to me to judge myself”.

As we said two seasons in A3, how do you think the category has changed and what year do you expect?

“In my opinion, there has been an upward peak in both A3 and A2 in the last two years. They have become increasingly rich leagues of important players and ambitious clubs. I’m sure we’ll have fun in the coming season as well.”

Despite your 22 years yet to be completed, you already have experience in Serie A, what can you bring to the team?

“Given my role in the team I hope to bring quality of play, but above all the “cazzimma” necessary to take away many great satisfactions”.
