New Mater Volley Castellana Grotte, a company registered in the next national championship of the A2 Credem Banca series for men’s volleyball, has officialized the shirt numbers for the 2023/2024 season. Communicate the choices made by the athletes who will be available to coach Simone Cruciani.
Colombian opposite Will Bermudez returns to Italy after experiences in Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Portugal and Romania and chooses to wear the number 4 shirt. Alberto Pol, Leonardo Battista and Cosimo Balestra still rely on the number 6, 9 shirts respectively and 16. The two directors, Emanuele Rampazzo and Alessandro Fanizza, will wear number 10 and 11. As done by Fanizza, Nicola Cianciotta also confirms the number worn last season in Serie A3 in Casarano, i.e. number 14. centre-back Victorio Ceban has never seen a new 22 shirt (until now he had always worn the 16), while the hammer Riccardo Iervolino confirms the 18 already chosen last year in Porto Viro. Ismael Princi, Nicolò Ciccolella and Filippo Menchetti move on to 3, 5 and 8. Number 13 ends up on the shoulders of the second free: it will be Federico Guadagnini’s.
Pending the confirmation of the 2023 preseason friendlies calendar, the season ticket campaign for the next A2 series will start from next week.
