Reason for satisfaction for the club, which will be able to continue to count on its darling; reason for joy for the fans, who see in him a symbol of their loyalty to the team: this is the meaning assumed by the renewal of the contract of Peppino Carbone, in the role of spiker, who will continue to wear the colors of “Franco Tigano” also for the next season.
Even the player, who was born and raised in Palmi, knows it well and does not hide his emotion in once again wearing the shirt of the team that represents his city: “it is always an honor to continue wearing the colors of this club, as well as a huge responsibility since I’m from Palmi” – he proudly declares.
Aware of the commitment and passion that the club is putting into promoting an ambitious project to achieve great results, which he believes Palmi and Calabrian volleyball deserve, looking to the future, Carbone is optimistic: “with the formation of a competitive roster and well structured, – he remarks – I expect great things”.
The player is determined to work hard in an environment that hopefully will grow steadily until the end of the championship, bringing results and satisfactions to which everyone aspires: “the goal – he adds – will be to grow month after month, starting from preparation because I know that everyone’s will – the technicians and the club – is to make the project as professional as possible and therefore to try to achieve optimal results”.
Peppino Carbone underlines the importance of restarting aware and stronger than in the past. Although last year the team had a well-mixed workforce, the opportunity to compete on equal terms with the opponents who went on to win the championship was lost. Carbone recognizes that one last sprint was missing, an agonism that had perhaps been a little hidden due to the ambitions that each player had set for himself and the unconscious pressure that had been imposed on himself. However, now the team is ready to face the challenges with greater awareness, determination and positivity, knowing they have all the credentials to achieve great results.
