He tiptoed in last season and has always worked professionally, showing great availability, so the doors to reappointment have opened for Pier Paolo Partenio.
The Macerata native will therefore be the director of the team coached by Paolo Tofoli with “a great desire to do well and repay the trust that the club has placed in me”. Then he continues: “To say that I’m happy would be an understatement, I’m glad that Virtus has decided to continue with me because this allows me to work with many young and motivated guys”.
The director from Virtus has quite clear ideas about the next competitive season: “It will be a long and hard year, with many competitors – continues Pier – it will be necessary to immediately include the newcomers in the team mechanisms to create a precise group identity”.

Off the field, Pier Paolo Partenio follows a typically “athlete” life: “In addition to keeping myself in shape – concludes the Maceratese – I follow the other championships a lot and I like to experience what is the locker room context. In the summer I alternate beach volleyball (played and trained) with a few trips, considering that during the competitive season it is difficult for us players to find free time”.
