The fourth rally in Felina of the Conad Volley Tricolore is coming to an end with the traditional walk on the Pietra di Bismantova and with the presentation of the team at the Tortellata di Campolungo; today, Sunday 13 August, the last training session took place at the Onda della Pietra Wellness Village before returning to the city.

On Saturday 12 August, after the usual morning training session, the team started the walk towards the Pietra di Bismantova. Before reaching the top, a stop was made at the hermitage of the Stone to visit the Laudato Si Center, where they talked about the reconstruction of the center after the fall of a boulder from the Stone. Inside the hermitage it was also possible to visit the pictorial exhibition that fills the walls of the Laudato Si Center. The climb to the top of the stone was led by the volunteers of the CAI Bismantova. Once at the top, the guides were able to tell the team Dante’s verses that well represent the climb to the top of the symbol of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine park.

In the evening the team attended the Tortellata di Campolungo, where all the elements of the squad were briefly presented during the Dj Set; once they got on the stage, Migliari, Santini, Fanuli, Sesto and Volpe took the floor.

To open the dances is always Loris Migliari, who thanks for the hospitality, inviting those present to the arena for the coming season, then passes the microphone to Azzio Santini: “I don’t want to dwell too much, but I want to say my best of luck to the team for the upcoming season; my wish is that the team is as strong as the tortelli I was able to taste this evening are good”.

Coach Fanuli takes stock of the retreat: “Coming here is an honor and a privilege, it’s nice to be among people, because it makes us feel alive; as a team we always try to be present at local initiatives, because high-level sport cannot consist only of Sunday entertainment, it must be integrated into everyday life. We are and will always be available to the local area, to young people and to those who want to take advantage of it”.

Nicolò Volpe concludes by telling how well the boys have been during the week, and then passes the microphone to Captain Sesto who starts the dance to leave the dance floor for the DJ set.

The retreat definitively ends with training in the weight room and in the swimming pool on Sunday 13 August, after lunch the team will say goodbye to the Black Eagle staff and then return to the city where two days of rest await them.
