For Vero Volley Monza, the return to Europe, after winning the CEV Cup in 2022, was the “icing on the cake” of another successful year, led once again by coach Massimo Eccheli, confirmed for next season on the bench together with the assistant, Giuseppe Ambrosio, and the assistant coach, Francesco Oleni. In the control room, the Brazilian Fernando Kreling and the Croatian Petar Visic will always compete, with the confirmations in the center of Gianluca Galassi, Gabriele Di Martino and the captain, Thomas Beretta. The Canadians Stephen Maar and Arthur Szwarc will crush another season for the rossoblù team, together with the Finn Luka Marttila. The news comes from the hammers, with Eric Loeppky, Canadian spiker from Taranto, and the Japanese Ran Takahashi, arriving from Padua. To complete the opposites department together with Szwarc, here is the French Ibrahim Lawani, who was also in the ranks of the Taranto team last season, while for the central team there is Francesco Comparoni, in the last two years in Ravenna, in A2. The free players will instead be two products of the Vero Volley nursery: Marco Gaggini, who has returned home after a season as a protagonist in Verona, again in SuperLega, and Flavio Morazzini, directly from the youth sector of the Consortium, a talented prospect in this role.
