Road trip in Lazio for the Vero Volley Monza, expected tomorrow, Saturday 11 February, at 18.00, from Top Volley Cisterna, (live on Rai Sport+HD and volleyballworld.tv), at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Cisterna, for the nineteenth day in anticipation of SuperLega Credem Banca 2022-23, eighth of the second round. Four rounds from the end of the regular season, the Monzese aim to consolidate a place among the top eight of the standings and keep their opponents from Lazio at a distance, ninth with one point less. The two consecutive defeats against Trento and Verona after four precious smiles in a row motivate Beretta and teammates to give their all to win again despite the absence of the team’s best scorer and ace Vlad Davyskiba. The Belarusian, who went out against Verona with an ankle sprain, will not be in the match, with Eccheli who, however, will be able to count on the return of the opposite Georg Grozer (MVP of the first leg match won by Monza in the tie-break) and the Brazilian setter Fernando Kreling , albeit still in the phase of complete recovery from the long break due to the knee injury. After Cisterna, Vero Volley will have three key matches in the final rush which will give away the pass for the final act of the season: Padua, on February 19th at home, Modena, in Emilia on March 5th and Siena, again at the Arena on March 12th.
