WithU Verona conquers the seventh consecutive win, overcoming a Top Volley Cisterna that was looking for a sensational hookup in the Play Off area right in the last round of the Regular Season 2022/23. The competition of a Pala AGSM AIM crowded by almost 4000 spectators, proves to be balanced right from the opening bars, with the two teams responding blow by blow. Then the local formation raises its voice against the wall, digging the furrow that the Pontine try to fill. Verona withstands the impact, suffers the return of the opponents again, but closes the first set with the block in Moscow. The match was also hard-fought upon returning to the pitch, but as in the opening partial, Radostin Stoytchev’s team took off and moved up to 2 – 0. A bicycle kick by Keita in mid-set, which turned into a perfect assist for Mozic, capable of closing the action by blowing up the arena. In the third act Cisterna finds the reaction, creates a discreet margin of advantage, which he manages to maintain until the end, reopening the race. Top Volley tries to take advantage of the positive inertia in the fourth set, but Verona reverses the trend and takes over the reins of the match. In a lively finale, the Gialloblù boys put an end to the match, earning their seventh straight win. If Mozic is named MVP, Sapozhkov is once again the best scorer with 22 points. In attack the premises close with 66% effectiveness. On the opposite side there are 19 Bayram points.

The success of the Scala allows Allianz Milano to qualify for the Play Offs even before taking the field tomorrow against Gioiella Prisma Taranto. The Milanese, now eighth, can still aspire to seventh position by trying to overtake Vero Volley Monza, engaged within the friendly walls with Emma Villas Aubay Siena.
