An important day for the Volley Team Club which was officially presented on the afternoon of Tuesday 26 September in the municipality of San Donà di Piave in the presence of the councilor for sport Simone Cereser and the councilor for budget, financial resources and associations Gianluca Forcolin.

The Volley Team Club San Donà company, through the words of the general director Renato Nani, took the opportunity to thank the administration for the support and attention it has given and will want to give to the company in its many initiatives which have as their the flagship is not only the first team but also a youth sector with more than 120 athletes, a summer beach volleyball activity, organized by JBA, a recycling shop for used objects through the Help4Sport shop and a multi-year collaboration with the Italian Federation Volleyball for the organization of multiple national and international events such as the European Sitting Volleyball championships which this year will take place in Caorle from 9 to 16 October.

The desire is therefore to undertake a fruitful collaboration between the municipality and the sports club for the benefit of the people of San Donato and the many young people in the area who are approaching the world of sport.

“You represent a lifestyle, a child who observes you – commented councilor Gianluca Forcolin – will always try to emulate you and this burdens you with an important responsibility. Teamwork, fun, ethics and the value you give to your actions are therefore significant for you but also for those watching you. Sport is a fundamental social factor for young people and in particular for the people of San Donato because it will be one of the factors that will shape the future people who will inhabit this city. We are proud that San Donà has a high-level club like the Volley Team Club which stimulates us to move forward in the development of some projects which, with the help of the province and the region, can be interesting for the future. If everyone puts in their share of passion, ambition and desire to do things, we can all achieve great results together.
Personally, I hope it will be a satisfying year in every sense, know that we will always be at your side.”

“We settled here four months ago – added the sports councilor Simone Cereser – and you were one of the first clubs in the area that I had the pleasure of meeting. I was positively surprised because in your meetings I didn’t perceive a “you have to give us” but a company active in proposing initiatives and ideas.
