WiMORE looking out for three points

Tomorrow afternoon at 18 at the Palasport Schiavonia, in anticipation of the sixth day of return of the Serie A3 Credem Banca national championship, WiMORE Parma, back from two consecutive defeats and currently in sixth place in the Play Off area, will visit the bottom TMB Monselice, stopped at 11 points and already beaten 3-0 at PalaRaschi. Different aims compared to the gialloblù, who last Sunday lost for the first time in the season in the tie-break in the presence of San Donà but can immediately resume their journey at full capacity in a still very short ranking and in the name of maximum balance with as many as four teams enclosed in a only point that, presumably, they will compete for the last positions useful for the post-season stage. This is why any three points in advance could be useful in order, first of all, to get closer to the goal of salvation and then to put pressure on the direct competitors, who are then forced to respond on the field on Sunday. Coach Andrea Codeluppi intends to leave behind the last two missteps, albeit characterized by some positive ideas. “We will have to start again from the basic characteristics of each match, taking care of the opponents, the daily work in the gym to improve our playing qualities and the competitive spirit which is always important in this championship. Monselice is a determined opponent and this can also be understood through the words of their coach (Cicorella) who considers the match against us a last resort but also from the fact that he has always fought in every game, not least a week ago with Pineto, where in the second set he was ahead 24-20 or when he lost 3-2 in Savigliano against the third force in the championship. It’s a team that, beyond the results, has never given up and will certainly not lack for determination.
