The 3rd Place Play Off Final Credem Banca is giving fans unique emotions and twists. After two tie-breaks with home victories in the first matches of the series, Allianz Milano achieved the away success with the maximum margin in the third round. In the event of a home victory at the Allianz Cloud tomorrow, Saturday 27 April, at 8.30 pm, the Ambrosians would obtain the pass for the CEV Champions League for the first time in their history, the highest continental club tournament which this year sees the final in ‘Itas Trentino. If the Dolomites fail to overturn the best-of-five series against the Milanese, next season they will have to fall back on the second most important European trophy, the CEV Cup. After the three defeats in last year’s Final against Piacenza, Allianz he is now playing a leading role in the race for third place. Despite the difficulties in receiving, Roberto Piazza’s men in Game 3 recorded higher percentages in winning blocks and in attack, standing out on serve with Paolo Porro (4 personal aces), also capable of sending the usual Yuki Ishikawa into double figures ( 18 points), Osniel Mergarejo (14), Ferre Reggers (11) and Agustin Loser (10 with 5 blocks).
