Emma Villas Siena experienced a special evening on Saturday. In fact, the sixth consecutive victory in the championship was achieved against Conad Reggio Emilia, which allows the team coached by coach Gianluca Graziosi to maintain third position in the standings. There are now 36 points for Siena, who is preceded in the ranking by Grottazzolina with 41, and by Cuneo who has 37 points. Below Emma Villas are Ravenna and Prata di Pordenone with 34 points. The one against Reggio Emilia was the twelfth victory for the Sienese in the seventeen championship matches played so far.

Saturday evening was special at the PalaEstra also for the Sienese sports union which took place in the sports hall in Viale Sclavo. Present at the match was the municipal councilor in charge of sport, Lorenzo Lorè, who awarded the best player of the match, Thomas Nevot.

Also guests of Emma Villas were the Sienese basketball clubs Virtus, Mens Sana and Costone, whose managers attended the match between Siena and Reggio Emilia.
