After the leap into Serie A2 Credem Banca achieved by Macerata in the Promotion Play-Off against Mantua, the second pass will be awarded at the end of the A3 Credem Banca Play Offs. The best-of-three semi-finals kick off on Sunday afternoon. Kick-off at 7pm at PalaAllende. The hosts of Smartsystem Fano, the only team in contention fresh from the Blue Group, which finished in second place, after having eliminated Modica in the Round of 16 and Motta in the Quarterfinals, challenge Belluno Volley, the second team in the White Group at the end of the regular season, and reached the third round of the Play Offs thanks to the successes against Acqui Terme and Palmi. For the people of Fano, this is the fourth participation in the A3 Final Phase, after the exits in the Round of 16, in the Quarterfinals and, last year, in the Semifinal against Casarano. For the first time in the Play Offs, Belluno dreams of continuing a dream path. The Semi-final at 7.30pm at the PalaSguaitzer also promises to be a spectacle. On the pitch are the home favorites Gabbiano Mantova, winners of the White Group and first in points in the entire 2023/24 Serie A3, but fresh from their first unsuccessful attempt at promotion in the play-off lost in Game 3 against Macerata. On the other side of the net comes Personal Time San Donà di Piave, third in the White Group after the first phase and reaching the Semifinal, eliminating first Cagliari and then Lagonegro. For the Mantua collective, this is the first participation in the A3 Play Offs, after the only previous one which ended in the Quarterfinals in A2 in the 2008/09 tournament. For San Donà, however, this is the second presence in the A3 Play Offs after finishing in the Quarterfinals during the 2021/22 edition.
