2025 CEV Cup once again in the foreground of the Trentino Itas calendar: on Wednesday 4 December in Lisbon the European Champion team will play the first leg match of the round of 16, facing the hosts Sport Lisboa and Benfica. Kick-off scheduled for 8pm Italian time: live on Radio Dolomiti.
HERE TRENTINO ITAS Having finished in second place in the first round of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2024/25 regular season, Sbertoli and his teammates are diving back into international competitions and in particular in the CEV Cup, a European event which up to now has seen them protagonists only in a previous round (the round of 32), characterized by two victories over the Romanians of Galati.
In the second double match of the continental adventure, Trentino Itas will challenge one of the best equipped teams on the Iberian peninsula; the match at Benfica’s home will also open a particularly intense period for Fabio Soli’s team, who from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 22nd December will take to the pitch away from Trento at least six times, also taking into account the three certain commitments in Brazil for the World Cup per Club (there could be five in the event of qualification for the Final Four), the return match in Cagliari against the same Portuguese team and the championship match in Taranto.
