Will Rottman is a new player for Cosedil Saturnia Acicastello. The American spiker with a French passport born in 2001, in recent years has played with the team of the prestigious American university of Stanford, where he graduated. Rottman, who has collected one success after another with the colors of his university, in April received the All-America sports honor from the American Volleyball Coaches Association, dedicated to non-professional athletes, which was thus awarded for the second time to a volleyball player. A young promise of international volleyball who is ready to face his first professional championship and who in the past season scored 515 points in 20 games played.

Of his arrival in Sicily, Rottman says: “I’m very happy to play with Saturnia. I’ve been to Italy before, but it will be my first time in Sicily. I’m originally from Southern California and I know I’ll have a great time.” On the project he adds: “I am honored to be able to work with a coach like Camillo Placì and with teammates who I know are very strong and full of experience. I know that I will be able to contribute to this project which envisages a rapid return to the SuperLega”. And again: “In my years of experience at university level and with the USA national team, I have had the opportunity to experiment with many things and many roles, and with the Stanford University team I was also a top scorer, I will put myself at the coach’s service to be ready in every way.”
