While the four teams that will compete for the 47th edition of the Del Monte® Italian Cup are at work in Bologna (at the end of the news there is a link to the photogallery of the training sessions on the match pitch), ready for the Semi-finals scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 25 January, at the Unipol Arena, it’s time to look at the roll of honor of the event, which in the last edition saw Sir Susa triumph, again inside the Unipol Arena in Bologna Angelo Lorenzetti’s Vim Perugia, which presents itself this year as reigning champion.

The record for victories is held by Modena (twelve), followed by Lube, who managed to win 7 Italian Cups, the last dating back to the 2020/21 season: Lube returns to the Final Four this year after a few years of absence and aims to make a good impression.

There are five victories for Cuneo, Parma and Treviso, four for the reigning champions Perugia, all successes dating back to recent years (2023/24, 2021/22, 2018/19, 2017/18). Three victories for Trento (2012/13, 2011/12 and 2009/10), which will face Civitanova tomorrow, while Verona – making its first appearance in the Final Four – will fight to enrich its trophy case at the first attempt.
