The time for the Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A3 is getting closer and closer, and on Sunday, March 30, starting at 6:00 p.m., the PalaVesuvio in Naples will be livening up the fourth edition of the event, pitting Romeo Sorrento and Personal Time San Donà di Piave against each other. The match, which will enjoy a high-level television production, will be broadcast live on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A YouTube channel.
Nicola Esposito (coach Romeo Sorrento): “We are very excited about this event and we can’t wait to get on the field in what will be the remake of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Final. San Donà will certainly want to redeem itself after being eliminated from the Play Offs and will be super motivated to demonstrate its value. We, for our part, want to give our fans another trophy and we will do everything to repay all the organizational sacrifices that the club has made”.

It will be a very difficult match due to the value of the opponent and because it comes in the middle of the Play Offs that take away a lot of energy both physically and mentally. Outside of the match I hope it can be a beautiful celebration for volleyball, a region like Campania deserves this type of stage and we are proud to have made a great event like the Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A3 possible”.
Daniele Moretti (coach Personal Time San Donà di Piave): “I expect a reaction from the boys after the burning elimination from the Play Offs, this will be the last match together of the year. The important thing will be to put in a performance worthy of this entire past year where important goals have been achieved, goals that no one expected.
Stefano Giannotti (captain Personal Time San Donà di Piave): “For us the Longarone final is not a great memory, Sorrento is the strongest team and against them we did not have a great performance. They practically outclassed us from every point of view, the scales once again tip in their favor. This week we will try to create the chances to win. We come from a difficult period, we are not playing our best volleyball, the moment is certainly not favorable, we need to raise our morale but the elimination from the Play Offs certainly does not help. We will use all the strength we have left, the attention and mental energy that we have available. It is not an easy challenge, what we can do is put them in difficulty until the last ball”.
