They say you always return to where you felt good. For few, these words are as fitting as Massimo “MaxRed” Redaelli. First serving ten years under the bell tower of San Paolo as Assistant Coach (under Coach Massimo Della Rosa and Coach Luciano Cominetti), and then as General Manager, the Carate Brianza coach returns to the Cantù bench after four seasons spent between the second national division (both men’s and women’s) and Vero Volley Monza. At the same time, after two years away, he also returns to the staff of the Lombardy Regional Selection for the Aequilibrium Cup – Regions Trophy.

WORDS FROM PRESIDENT AMBROGIO MOLTENI

Max Redaelli’s welcome return to Libertas is further proof that those who have enjoyed their time with us for so many years, reaching unexpected milestones such as the Promotion Playoff Final in the 2013/2014 season against Vero Volley Monza, are happy to return when the right conditions arise. This, in my opinion, means that those who have sown well for several years can always reap good results in the future. I am truly delighted that Max has agreed to join Libertas in the dual role of assistant coach and scout, thus filling the positions previously held by Fulvio Roncoroni, now Technical Director and Head of the Youth Sector at Libertas, and Laura Vigilante, our scout who will be joining Vero Volley Monza in the SuperLega, and who will therefore bring with her a touch of the journey she has made at Libertas over all these years. I believe the Invernici-Redaelli duo will certainly be more than prepared to face the Credem Banca Serie A3 championship, and in this sense the company’s financial commitment was to guarantee the best that the market in our area could offer us.
