The activity at PalaBarton Energy does not stop, where the Block Devils not busy with their respective national teams, continue to work to best face the summer and prepare for the next season. Another week of “post-season” work has just ended: it is a very important phase both for the boys, to keep their muscles “warm”, and for the technical staff, to work with a particular focus on some details that, compared to the rhythms of the season, can now be taken care of with more tranquility. This “post season” period began on the Monday after Poland’s return (May 26). With the first team players, the work is mainly developed in the weight room in the morning (some are also involved in technical work with the ball in the afternoon), while with all the young players of the club, this path is developed both in the weight room and on the field, in the afternoon so as not to interfere with the school commitments of the young Block Devils.

The athletic trainer of Sir Susa Vim Perugia, Sebastian Carotti, explains how this work is developed: «Personally, I use this period to work on strength development; also taking advantage of this moment to improve the technical execution of some exercises that have a very high technical-coordination component (maybe during the season the time available is not great to do it). Then, at the staff level, it becomes very useful to create work dynamics that we will use during the next season.
